I am from the charming town of Bowthorpe, where I appreciate the tranquility of a quiet location, easy access to outdoor activities, and a welcoming atmosphere. the hotel exceeded my expectations by offering easy walks to Bassenthwaite lake and challenging hikes up Whinlatter, right at my doorstep. the proximity to bike trails at Whinlatter and a short drive to Keswick for shopping were a bonus. the stunning views of Skiddaw from the rooms and garden added to the overall experience. the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I also appreciated the quick response from the host when I accidentally locked myself out. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
